Battle of the Gods is the expansion disk for Black & White 2 and offers player a host of new challenges in a much darker, more sinister game world. Battle of the Gods takes the player back once more to the world of Eden where something strange has started to happen. The Aztecs have not accepted defeat lightly and by making a huge number of human sacrifices they have managed to raise their own evil deity. Now the player must return to Eden to fight this evil deity head on. As always in the Black & White world, the tactics employed to battle with this new foe are up to the player – but if nothing is done, this evil deity will take over the world.
The player’s quest to rout this new foe will be made easier by their own tribe, the Greeks, and of course, the creature. Both will be tested to the limit by the evil machinations of the Aztecs and their god.
The Black & White world allows player the freedom to choose how they will rise to this new challenge either by countering the evil deity’s actions with good ones or attempting to out do him with extreme evil.

Instructions / Troubleshooting;

1. Download an application that supports the burning and/or mounting of .iso files.

There are many of them out there to choose from; DaemonTools Lite, AstroBurn Lite, NeroBurn Lite/Essentials, MagicISO.

I personally recommend DaemonTools or AstroBurn, some of the most popular and easiest to use.

2. After installing the application, run it. (I’m not sure which app. you have chosen to use), but from the user interface it should be very straight forward and easy to figure out what to do.

If you choose; TO MOUNT IMAGES

DaemonTools Lite – will allow you to mount the images, .iso files, to a virtual drive. You may than run the image just as if you had a physical copy of the cd from your computer. The virtual drive will even show up as another ROM drive under ‘My Computer’. (assuming you are using windows).

1. Open DaemonTools and mount the first .iso file of the game. (The game may automatically launch, if not go to ‘My Computer’, find the BW2 icon and double click it.) On a side note, I recommend running the diagnostics option on the game menu before installing the game to insure compatibility with your computer.

2. Click the ‘Install’ button on the game menu. The game will begin installing. When it asks for the next disk, simply unmount the current .iso file from the virtual drive, using the application you have downloaded and installed, and mount the next disc that it is asking for and click the ‘Ok’ button to continue installing.

3. If you would like to install the Battle Of The Gods expansion, do that right after you get done installing BW2 using the same instructions in the above steps. After installing the games be sure to apply the official patches, these will solve a bunch of problems you will probably experience during game-play without them.

4. In order to launch and play the game after installation, you will need to mount the ‘Main’ game disc to the virtual drive, “disc1?, again. The disc is required to be inserted, or in this instance mounted, in order to run the game.

NOTE – If you experience the following issue with the population of adults not dying, or the population of children not growing up and having no adult population or rather any strange population glitch in the game. You will need to run the game from an actual physical disc. (See steps below for burning images to CDs). DO NOT USE A ‘NO-CD CRACK’ OF ANY KIND. This will guarantee such glitches in the game. Trust me on this one I have had to deal with this a few times in the past.

If you choose; TO BURN IMAGES TO CD

AstroBurn Lite – will allow you to burn the images, .iso files, to a disc. These discs will run perfectly as they are exact duplicates of the orignal retail discs, (Including the DRM track).

1. Open AstroBurn. Insert a blank CD, not dvd. Select the ‘Image’ tab at the top left. Within the image tab, select the browse button and find the image you wish to burn. To the left of the program, it should show you the current status about the size of your project, very straight forward.

2. Be sure to select the proper burning device, and set the burn speed to no higher than 16x. Be sure to check the ‘Verify’ box to verify rather or not the image was burned to the disc correctly. Burn all images to a CD, not dvd or other media format.

it works just fine only there should be a read me file for the newer people that dont know how the crack works but fine
i played it a few hours and noticed that the childeren will not age
i looked it up and some forms says its a problem with the nocd crack
soo i looked up a few other no cd/dvd cracks but it is no use
i cant build up armys like this and my game was fd up because i had only 28 old peeps left and 680 childeren :'D

Update:
I downloaded the patch for BotG from bwfiles.com, that made it possible to run on Windows 10, and after installing, it seems to work like a charm
I apparently was just stupid and/or blind yesterday, but I hope this helps someone who is in the same situation

I've downloaded the files, and already have B&W2, and the 2 official patches installed.
I unzipped the files, and was left with a folder containing: Reloaded(.nfo), rld-botg(.bin) and rld-botg(.cue)
After opening the .bin file with Daemon tool, running the Setup, found in the resulting BD-ROM drive, entering the CD key and clicking the 'Black & White Battle of the Gods' icon, that appeared on the desktop, nothing happened. I even opened as an administrator.
Then I tried the 'arun' application in the BD-ROM drive, which lead me to the actual game start page. But after I clicked Play, it just closed down. It didn't indicate that the game was starting, or anything.
I tried ejecting the drive, and opening the other folder (.cue), but the content was the same, and when I ran Setup, it asked if I wanted to uninstall, repair or modify the program features.
I tried repairing, and when that didn't work, I tried troubleshooting compatibility, which didn't change anything. I've just about scoured the internet to find a solution, but either I'm blind, stupid, or it was nowhere to be found.
I am not tech savvy, by any means, so some help would be much appreciated

As I finished writing this, i noticed the abandonware guide, right above the 'write a commment' section. I read it through and followed the instructions, running it with D-Fend Reloaded, but it only said that it was a windows executable, and thus it couldn't play it. I clicked ok, and it seemed to start anyway, but nothing happened. Idk if i'm just stupid or what..
I tried running the .bin file, but that didn't work either

Even though there is no iso you can still mount the .bin and .cue files using daemon tools.

A bin/cue set is another format for saving a disk image, similar to an iso.
